A big THANK YOU to the ladies at Luca Hair & Esthetics for donating haircuts and colour to the women in the Fall 2017 Bridges for Women program.
The make-overs were amazing and we are so grateful for them. The appy trays and refreshments were an unexpected and really nice treat.
More about Luca can be found at: https://www.facebook.com/lucahairandesthetics/
For over 10 years, we have been honored to offer space in our buildings during March and April for the annual Volunteer Tax Return Preparation service for low income individuals.
However, this service has become very popular and outgrown us. They have moved the Wednesday morning location to the Canadian Legion building just a few doors down from us at 2141 Columbia Ave. See below for more info or a PDF of the schedule can be downloaded through the following link: Spring 2018 Volunteer tax prep schedule.
We applaud all the dedicated Volunteers who have made this essential service accessible to our community and wish them all the best in their new location.
Thank you Amec Foster Wheeler employees!
FAIR Executive Director Janet MacNeil (centre) and Receptionist Noma Kurulok (third from the right) were recently invited to Amec Foster Wheeler’s offices in Trail for a special gift.
Amec Foster Wheeler employees raised over $1,000.00 at their annual Christmas Party silent auction and chose FAIR as the recipient of this year’s funds.
Merry Christmas Amec!
