Dental Access Program

Fund-raised dollars assist low-income community members experiencing dental pain or infection to access dental work.

Through generous donations from dentists, individuals, community groups, and concerned organizations, this program is able to offer LIMITED services to assist low-income community members experiencing dental pain or infection to access dental work.

This program is entirely dependant on the volunteer efforts of Interior Health Dental Program staff, local Dentists and Dental Office staff, and community donations.

Due to very limited resources, priority is given to individuals who are experiencing dental pain, infection, or the inability to eat due to their oral condition.  Monetary aid is delegated to those people who are low-income and have exhausted all other avenues to access dental care. An application and consultation MUST be completed with a staff member of the Dental Program.

An application will be approved for funding if they meet the financial and dental criteria, and if there are sufficient funds available.

Monetary Donations to this program are gratefully accepted.  Please make cheques payable to "Trail FAIR Society", with notation that the funds are for the "Dental Access Program".

We are pleased to recognize recent donors including:
