Specialized Victim Services

Support for victims of spousal assault, adult sexual assault, child sexual assault\abuse, adult survivors, criminal harassment and stalking.  Information and emotional support to victims, witnesses, and families during the court process and legal appointments.

CONFIDENTIALITY
All matters will be dealt with in a discreet confidential manner.

COST
There is no charge for the Specialized Victim Services (Community Based) Program.

HOW DO WE HELP?

  • By supporting victims of spousal assault, adult sexual assault, child sexual assault/abuse, adult survivors, criminal harassment and stalking.
  • By providing an accepting non-judgmental, supportive environment.
  • By giving information and referrals.
  • By providing in-person or telephone support.

SERVICES PROVIDED

  • Courtroom orientation / accompaniment.
  • Assistance through legal / justice process.
  • Assistance with forms such as Crime Victim Assistance Program, Legal Aid, and Victim Impact Statements.
  • Information about your case as it goes through the court system (dates, times, outcomes).
  • Referral to other agencies or professionals for counseling or other identified needs.
