STRENGHTHENING PARENT and CHILD CONNECTION – Family Crest Project Workshop

In this workshop, parents and their children ages 5-12 years will create a colourful and meaningful emblem that reflects their history and identity.

Many themes will be explored, including:

  • What does your family enjoy doing?
  • What words/images describe your beliefs?
  • What rituals are important to you?
  • What motto describes your family?
  • What is your cultural heritage?

This workshop is FREE, and includes dinner.

Circle of Security Parenting series

At times all parents feel lost or without a clue about what our child might need from us.  Imagine what it might feel like if you were able to make sense of what your child was really asking from you through their behavior.

The Circle of Security Parenting program is based on decades of research about how secure parent-child relationships can e supported and strengthened.

This series is FREE and childcare will be provided.

Dates: 8 Wednesdays – Oct 17 to Dec 12

Nobody’s Perfect Parenting series

There are no perfect parents or perfect children!

The NOBODY’S PERFECT parenting series is a FREE, fun program, where parents who have children aged 0-6 will talk and learn about:

  • Children’s growth and learning
  • Children’s behavior
  • Health and Safety
  • Parenting stress

Meet with other parents of young children.  Discuss real life parenting solutions.  Share parenting questions, concerns and ideas. Discover positive ways of parenting.

Dinner and childcare are provided

Fall 2018 Crisis Line Training

The Interior Crisis Line has identified  potential timeframes for their next 3day training:

  •  Sept 28, 29 & 30
  • or
  • Oct 12, 13 & 14

Whichever timeframe has the most interest will be the one which is run.  So – register early to get your preferred dates!
