| Description: | Confidential 24 hour a day, 7 day a week emergency services for abused women and their children. Temporary accommodation in a safe, supportive environment. Counselling and support groups for women and children. Information and referrals. Transition house staff are also available to provide public education workshops on issues of violence against women and children who witness abuse. A program of Nelson Community Services Centre (NCSC).
