| Description: | Serves adults with severe and persistent mental illness. The clinician visits clients with chronic mental illnesses, provides support and counselling and facilitates connections to community resources. Once or twice a year, groups are provided to clients who will benefit from education and support to work through their issues. In addition, counselling on a brief intervention basis is provided to individuals in immediate crisis, who require support to deal with that crisis and to connect or reconnect with ongoing supports. A program of the Salmo Community Resource Society.
