A joint program with the Ktunaxa / Kinbasket Child and Family Services.

Meets the needs of and offers support to families and children 0 to 6 years whose heritage in First Nations, Metis or Inuit living in the West Kootenay (Trail, Castlegar, Nelson and surrounding areas) through home visits and groups.

Develops culturally relevant resources such as the Little Robes playgroups, to meet the needs of families.

Promotes child health through parental support, education about child development, advocacy and referrals.

Offers information and support around prenatal care, nutritional needs of children, and access to medical, dental, speech, language, hearing and optical services for children.

A Kootenay Kids Society program.
