A pregnancy outreach program that offers support, information and resources for pregnant/postpartum individuals and families with babies up to 12 months (siblings of babies welcome to attend group).
Weekly drop-in Building Beautiful Babies group meets at the FAIR Family Centre in the Trail United Church on Thursdays from 10am-12pm. Group includes light lunch and guest speakers. No pre-registration for group required – drop-ins are welcome.
Food vouchers, free prenatal vitamins and lending library available through Coordinator. Contact the Trail FAIR office for more information.
Resources and support for parents and their children 0-6 years old. Includes Family Drop-In groups promoting social and physical wellness development. These groups include seasonal drop-in groups as well as Muffins and Munchkins.
Muffins and Munchkins is a drop-in group for parents and their toddlers/preschoolers.

This program offers parenting groups including Circle of Security Parenting Program, Nobody’s Perfect, My Tween and Me, and the Connect Attachment Program.

StrongStart is a free, school-based Early Learning Program located at Fruitvale Elementary school. For children aged 0-5 years and their parent/caregiver.
8:30am to 11:30am Monday to Friday following the school calendar.
All children must be registered with the school district before attending. The Child/Student Registration forms may be downloaded, printed, completed and presented with the child’s birth certificate on the child’s first day.

Services for childcare workforce, childcare providers and families. Includes early learning lending library, caregiver registry, childcare referrals, educational workshops and playgroups.
Counselling for family issues including parent/teen conflict resolution, family relationships and blended families. Servicing families in both Trail and Castlegar.
Hands on, practical skill building group for parents offered twice per year; childcare provided.
