Did you know that FAIR offers Training in Mental Health First Aid several times per year throughout the Kootenay Boundary region?
Just like PHYSICAL First Aid is provided by regular citizens until medical help is available, MENTAL HEALTH First Aid is offered by everyday people until the crisis is solved or appropriate support is found.
MHFA Training helps participants learn to Recognize, Respond and Guide.
This standardized training is offered by an experienced facilitator and is provided at a pace which meets the needs of the audience. If you would like to be put on an interest list for the next session, or a group you are part of would like to arrange a session which meets your scheduling needs, please contact Lisa Melenka at 250-364-2326 ext 225, or LMelenka@trailfair.ca.
